I’ve had the great pleasure to ‘meet’, albeit purely over the phone and by email, a talented photographer who is also involved with some worthing canine causes.
Suzanne Bird, a Canadian photographer, has been assigned to take photos of dog guardians and their owners skijoring. This is to cover a story I’ve been assigned to write for Dogs In Canada magazine (scheduled for later in 2007). I want to focus on Suzanne here.
If you have a dog or dogs, I strongly urge you to check out Suzanne’s Website to see samples of her work. As she so aptly states she’s “Addicted to capturing your pet’s personality.”
Then, take a stroll with your mouse and visit her blog to find out about the Urban Dog in Ottawa (in Ontario, Canada) and some of the great projects Suzanne is involved with. Those projects include unique, classy fund raising calendars plus her involvement in supporting one of only two animal blood banks in Canada providing Vet clinics the valuable blood needed for animal emergencies.
Check it out!

Wish we could get there to get photographed, but it’s a bit of a long way! Really like your blog. And a big paws up for friendly training — clicker training got me a part in a movie and a pop video, a gold good citizenship award, and a lifetime of treat opportunities! Please come and visit my blog, and check out my website too – http://www.oniondog.com — I’ve even been immortalized as a light!
We’ll keep checking your blog now we’ve found you.
Big licks,
Onion
