It’s no secret that I’m a strong advocate of keeping dogs busy, as they were intended to be. In the current issue of Dogs in Canada (November 2007), my feature article on Urban Herding appears on page 24.
Herding is ideal if you have a herding breed, but even some of the non-herding breeds sometimes show enough herding ability to get involved. The article provides all the information you need to know if it’s something for you and your dog, plus how to get started — a great way to bond and to help your dog keep fit.
